So that the light that you perceive, or the light of our aura originates as a potentiality in subliminal levels of our being. And we may call it to emerge in our aura so that our aura is not just boomeranging back the light of the environment, but is nourished, nurtured by ever-new dispensations of light that erupt from the subliminal levels of our being.

The Sufis call this, at least my father calls this, the all pervading light, as opposed to radiant light. Because, well I suppose this could be illustrated by the difference between what Dr. David Bohm calls the explicate perspective and the implicate. So there are two possible perspectives but generally we are familiar with the explicate one. That is this tree is there and another tree is there, and that’s a person and another person, another person and so on.

And the implicate state which could be illustrated by radio waves where everything dovetails with everything else. Overlaps. Everything is present in everything else. Like radio waves that are not specific by their location in space.

So that again takes, is a challenge to our way of thinking. We’re not used to thinking that way. But it is a key to meditation. There is an osmosis between people but if we can find people we love or are close to us in ourselves, and they probably can find us in them. There’s an overlap, an osmosis.

So once more this challenges our way of thinking. So can you imagine that behind radiant light there is a kind of light that is not located in space. Just like behind the sounds of your radio, there are radio waves, there’s a whole wave interference pattern of radiowaves. And they get known to you because they are processed by your radio, you couldn’t be able to make sense of that network of vibrations.

But somehow one’s aura, as I said, is not just, either it preempted our body and then in turn our body absorbs more light from the environment but there are continually fresh dispensations of light that galvanize our aura and that we radiate then, in addition to the light that we boomerang back from the environment.

So we are the transducers who convert all-pervading light into radiant light.
