Of course there is a relationship between the pituitary and the pineal gland. The pituitary gland is placed, it just hangs from the thalamus above the pons at the back of the brain. And that is why the yogis pull their tongue as far back as possible in order to exercise pressure on the pituitary gland. There’s a soft spot area in your gum where there’s less, there’s no cartilage as a matter of fact. And it would be very dangerous to exercise any pressure there because you have direct access to the brain.
One imagines white light, colorless light. It’s very approximate because in fact it’s just beyond physical light so the white light is the, one imagines a diamond for example. It’s the closest you can come to what you’re trying to convey. And of course a diamond has a lot of reflections of all different colors. But these are just, how can I say, adjuncts to something which one cannot consider the object of one’s perception.
And the relation between the pituitary and the pineal, you have the connection between our let’s say the pinnacle and maybe the source of our individuality, the pituitary. And the pineal which is trans-personal.
Concentrating on the pituitary, the pituitary is also a gland, essentially, and will exude hormones, what they beta-endorphins which is a kind of morphine that the body produces. And it’s programmed for animals. When animals suffer, they exude these morphines that dope them from the pain. And it is also a drug, a drug that is produced by the body itself that produces ecstasy. It’s quite different from using a foreign agent. And therefore, the secret of samadhi is to concentrate on the pituitary gland and the consequence is that one is in a state of ecstasy.

And of course when one turns one’s eyeballs upwards and in the very advanced yogi practices, one converges the eyes as they turn inwards. And you actually try to turn your eyes towards the pituitary gland which is called bindu.
So you concentrate on the white light or colorless light in the pituitary gland and you have all those different colors. Above the head they form like a crown, a glorious crown of sparkling colors that keep on changing their hues. Sparkling, scintillating. And then the whole aura appears as a mantle of light. That’s the mantle of the initiate, the mantle of light.
