[Please note that in this audio meditation Pir Vilayat is speaking alternately in English and in German. The corresponding transcript is in English only.] Try to imagine that you are sitting facing the Bodi Tree. Nighttime medititating. Getting into the consciousness of
Buddha. So, in the fourth
Satipathana, you are watching your consciousness, but you thought that your consciousness was the witness. And so can you just imagine, let’s say the consciousness of your consciousness, and perhaps even the consciousness of the consciousness of your consciousness. So how does your sitting under the tree, how does physical matter look when your personal consciousness is not the witness? Because it is the consciousness of your consciousness that has taken over. So you are sitting under the tree, and of course you are surrounded by matter, but now matter seems very different. Because you see it, you see intelligence manifesting as matter. And that, I’m taking the words of Pir Murshid, consciousness has awakened in matter in the ends of time and matter has awakened through consciousness. So now you see matter as not just the object of your observation. And when you do that, then somehow you see matter as the materialization of space. You see that in physics is gravitation, where, you see, space is landscaped. Where it concentrates itself, matter appears. So the first step leading to
Nirvana because now actually we’re seeking somebody, and according to the buddhist methods, and Buddha calls it Nirvana. So can you think once more, you are sitting under the tree, and somehow your consciousness is overwhelmed by the infinity of space. (pause)
And then you find that form is only a way in which reality manifests to our consciousness. That is, that we are normally experiencing reality through a framework, a window. That is, our ability to grasp three dimensions of time, of space, and one of time - our intelligence probably finds it difficult to go beyond that. But now, if you follow the Buddhist path, you free yourself from that framework. And so you are freeing yourself from the limitation of space and the limitation of time. So as you are sitting there, you losed the thought that you are sitting there. You have lost your sense of location in space. And you have lost the idea that you are moving in time, that you are advancing in time. And therefore, you begin to start having some sense of the in…Can you do that?

That is fundamentally you overcome the idea “I am”
